Cattle Depot Theatre Season — Winter 2006 Contemporary Playwright series: Sarah Kane

 

On & On presents "Contemporary Playwright Series - Sarah Kane", marking the first-ever staging in Hong Kong of works by one of Britain's most outstanding and controversial young playwrights who died by suicide. The chosen works are "4.48 Psychosis" and "Crave". "4.48 Psychosis", Kane's fifth and final play, came a week before her death by hanging at the age of 28, following her struggles with depression. "Crave", her fourth work, is presented here in its first-ever Chinese translation globally.
