A woman suffering from severe insomnia dreams of a medieval girl being sent onto a ship of fools, where she and others deemed abnormal are exiled to the sea, drifting endlessly from one city to another. After her insomnia sets in, the bizarre scenes from the ship of fools gradually unfold before her eyes. Night after night, she drives her small car along the outskirts of the city, slowly feeling a mysterious force pulling her towards a version of herself she has never met…
